The “Greening” of Business

How can small and large businesses alike begin to “think green”? What can businesses do today to save money and become environmental leaders in their communities? Suppose a company wants to be green: where do they begin? In this class you would be given the definitions for “green” and “sustainability.” Is a consultant needed to make the transition to “green”? Insights will be presented for planning and practices that every business, regardless of size, can do to make their businesses more sustainable. Learn more about environmental (ISO 14001) and health and safety (ISO 18000) requirements. There will also be discussions on project management tools and methods used to approach the world of “green” through cost savings and performing internal gap analysis.
