Meet Martha Newslow
Executive Assistant
Martha came to work for D. L. Newslow & Associates, Inc., after retiring as a special education teacher in the public school system for 19 years. Martha originally graduated from the University of MA with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. She went on to pursue a Masters degree in Special Education from American International College in Springfield, MA.
Martha started out teaching high school English classes in Pittsfield, MA. Then in 1991, she moved to Florida and resumed her teaching career in Volusia County, Florida. During her tenure, she was a Demonstration teacher for FDLRS, served on the school’s advisory council and was an active participant on the technology committee. In 2001, she was nominated as Teacher of the Year for Friendship Elementary School.
Martha has now embarked on a new career in food safety. She has attended several workshops pertaining to the industry in order to better understand the needs of the company and our customers. Her current responsibilities include workshop and seminar information compilation, food safety industry research, special projects and general office duties. She is a wonderful asset to the team and we are lucky to have her.
