Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCQI)

Our course is taught by 2 FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food Lead Instructors. Upon completing the curriculum, you will meet the requirements of a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) who can manage a food safety Preventive Controls program in accordance with the Hazard Analysis and Risk-based Preventive Controls Rule of the US Food and Drug Administration (21 CFR 117).


Workshop hours are from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday for a total of 20 instructional hours. Course instructional materials, professional certificates, lunch and snacks are included in the cost.
