Course Overview: The FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCHF) Version 2.0 course is designed to equip participants with the latest knowledge and skills required to develop and implement a food safety plan in compliance with the FDA's Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). This updated curriculum replaces Version 1.2, which will be retired on June 30, 2025. Starting July 1, 2025, only PCHF Version 2.0 will be available for participant course registration and delivery. Who Should Attend: This course is ideal for food safety professionals, quality assurance managers, regulatory personnel, and anyone responsible for developing and implementing a food safety plan in a food processing facility. It is also beneficial for those seeking to become a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI). People who are currently certified under version 1 and need to update to version 2. Course Objectives: • Understand the requirements of the FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Food rule. • Learn how to develop and implement a comprehensive food safety plan. • Gain insights into the latest updates and changes in the PCHF Version 2.0 curriculum. • Explore best practices for hazard analysis, preventive controls, and verification activities. Course Content: • Introduction to FSMA and the Preventive Controls for Human Food rule. • Detailed explanation of the PCHF Version 2.0 requirements. • Steps to develop and implement an effective food safety plan. • Case studies and practical examples of food safety plan implementation. • Tools and resources for maintaining compliance with the PCHF rule. Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion, demonstrating their understanding of the PCHF Version 2.0 requirements from FSPCA.

Cancellation Policy

We accept cancellations up to 15 days prior to the start of the workshop. Any registrant who cancels within this time frame will receive a full refund minus the cancellation fee*. If a registrant cancels between the 5th – 14th day preceding the workshop, the participants will have the option to attend a future class within one year of the original workshop or receive a 50% refund minus the cancellation fee*. No refunds will be given for cancellations occurring 5 days or less before the start of the workshop. If you cannot attend a workshop, you may send an alternate from your company to the same workshop. You need to notify our office immediately by phone (407) 290-2754 if you need to make any changes. If D. L. Newslow & Associates, Inc. has to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, emergency, death in family, hurricane, etc.), you will receive a full refund of your registration fee or you will be able to apply it to another workshop. *Note: The cancellation fee is defined as 25% of the total cost, up to a maximum of $200 per workshop.
