Alanna was born in Neptune, NJ but moved very shortly to Atlanta, GA. Alanna considers Atlanta her home as she has lived there at three different times in her life. She has also lived in Florida and Texas. She is married to a native Atlantan, Roy.

Alanna graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Chemistry. Alanna and Roy live in Woodstock, a suburb on the north side of Atlanta, with their two children Cullen (18) and Maggie (16). They have two dogs and enjoy spending family time outside by their pool.

Alanna began her career in the chemical and polymer coatings industry. She started her quality assurance and food safety experience with Coca-Cola in 1999. Alanna has experience in auditing suppliers, manufacturing facilities and a variety of standards. Most notably obtaining Organic Certification, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 certification within several facilities. She is experienced with manufacturing, cross functional problem solving and change management processes.
Alanna has worked in positions as: Regional Technical Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Safety and Environmental Manager (regional role), Quality and Environmental Manager, Process Quality Manager and Quality Systems Manager. Although her experience is within Coca-Cola it covers ingredients, concentrate, syrup and ready to drink products.

Since she has joined D.L. Newslow & Associates, she has branched out to supporting facilities with training in HACCP, Advanced HACCP, Juice HACCP, FSSC 22000, SQF and Internal Auditing. Alanna enjoys working with facilities of varying sizes and complexities, including but not limited to hot fill, cold fill, aseptic and retort processing. She has performed the role of interim QA Manager for a variety of facilities while they search for the perfect candidate and has facilitated the on-boarding process for several QA Managers. She prides herself in bringing calm to stressful situations and bringing teams together.

Alanna has experience with TTB, USDA and FDA, and can perform a variety of audits including but not limited to warehouse, manufacturing, GMP and supplier audits.
​
She possesses strong leadership, organizational, communication skills and innovative problem-solving skills. Alanna’s passion is assisting manufacturing facilities comply with the requirements and standards of their customers. Alanna is excited to partner with clients in the pursuit of compliance and continuous improvement.
