INTENTIONAL ADULTERATION

Updated: Jul 21, 2023

AUGUST 10TH, 2023

AT THE DRURY INN NEAR UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

ORLANDO, FL

Food defense is now commonly referred to as IAVA (Intentional Adulteration Vulnerability Assessment). Food defense is no longer about just keeping unauthorized people out of your facility, but now understanding how authorized employees and visitors can be at risk.

According to this new rule, the FDA now wants facilities to conduct a vulnerability assessment against "acts of intentional adulteration". The FSPCA has developed an FDA approved method to assess your company's risk.

Our upcoming August 10th class will show participants how to perform this assessment and follow the FDA's rule. The FDA has announced that they will be inspecting food companies to verify compliance with this rule. Have your vulnerability assessment and food defense plan ready!

Come a couple days early and you can take our FSMA: Preventive Controls for Human Food course in the same location!
